As part of the RII40415 - Certificate IV in Underground Coal Operations qualification, Simtars offers the following units through online delivery:

  • RIIMEX406D - Apply and monitor mine transport system and production equipment
  • RIIRAI401D - Apply and monitor mine services and infrastructure systems
  • RIIUND401D - Apply and monitor the ventilation management plan
  • RIIERR402D - Apply and monitor underground coal mine emergency preparedness and response systems
  •  RIIMCU407D - Apply and monitor the strata management plan
  •  RIIMCU406D - Apply and monitor the inrush management plan
  • RIIRIS402D - Carry out the risk management processes
  • RIICOM301D - Communicate information
  • RIIWHS301D - Conduct safety and health investigations. 

Also we offer RIIMCU408D - Apply the spontaneous combustion management plan through face to face delivery which is one of the units in the Certificate IV. Watch this space for more units coming soon!

Simtars is also offering BSBWHS409 - Assist with workplace monitoring processes (Monitoring respirable dust in coal mine).

All students participating in accredited training will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Note that as a Registered Training Organisation, Simtars will need to collect and verify your USI. 

Simtars will ensure the security of student identifiers provided. Simtars will not be able to issue statements of attainment without being in receipt of a verified USI.
